Legacy Franchise's Held Cancer Fundraiser


Sarasota, Florida business owner Cliff Longshore serves as the Owner of Legacy Franchise Development. In this role, he is in charge of the firm's operations, including managing profits and losses for numerous restaurants, developing budgets, calculating outcomes, and communicating results to his management team. Furthermore, Cliff Longshore owns numerous Beef O’ Brady’s franchise locations across the state of Florida. .

Legacy Franchise Development, Beef ‘O' Brady's partner, remodeled the Crestview Beef ‘O' Brady's restaurant in 2014. Two years later, the restaurant and 21st Century Oncology staged their inaugural cancer benefit in memory of Crestview resident Serstin Lango, who died in 2014 from breast cancer.

The fundraiser raised $1,500, which was donated to the C.A.R.E. fund of the 21st Century Oncology charity organization. All funds generated by C.A.R.E stay in the community and are used to assist local cancer sufferers with medical expenditures. The cancer fundraiser was held at the Crestview Corners Shopping Center restaurant.

Promote Nutrition Programs Enhancement


An alumnus of Georgia Southern University, Cliff Longshore is an established restaurateur and business owner who has acquired expertise in multiple restaurants in Georgia. Currently, Cliff Longshore serves as the Owner of Legacy Franchise Development, a Tampa, Florida-based company that owns and operates multiple Beef ‘O’ Brady’s franchise locations. In addition, he is involved in charitable endeavors and has donated and supported several charitable organizations, including No Kid Hungry.

As hunger and the need for assistance increased in 2020, nonprofits like No Kid Hungry rose up and worked diligently to ensure that children are removed from this testing situation. No Kid Hungry has worked with schools and organizations all throughout the United States.

Since March 2020, No Kid Hungry has awarded more than 2,000 groups in all 50 states, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia with over $75 million. These organizations include food banks, schools, and local NGOs. Grantees of No Kid Hungry have served approximately a billion meals to children and families across the United States.

No Kid Hungry will focus on updating the way summer meals are provided as part of the Child Nutrition Reauthorization process in Congress, developing a more efficient program that serves more children. The group is also striving to eliminate administrative hurdles so that the focus will be on ensuring that children receive adequate nourishment.

No Kid Hungry is ready to back the President's budget plan for FY 2022, which lays the groundwork for the administration's American Families Plan by financing SNAP, WIC, and child nutrition programs. In addition, the plan supports pandemic emergency measures to address the food problem and aims to expand access to school meal programs in some of the nation's most vulnerable schools and districts.
